中国凉山，海拔2千米到3千米，在寒冷、贫瘠、隔绝的高山上，彝族人世代生活了两千多年。

近些年，国家给他们修了通村的硬化路，建了新式住房，甚至把他们搬迁到海拔较低的地方。他们的物质生活开始现代化，同时古老的传统习俗也面临被改变……或许历史一直就是这样走过来的，我们自认为有价值的、没有价值的，就这样沿途走着走着，被遗落、甚至被遗忘。

Those who are close to the sky

Liangshan, China, 2 to 3 kilometers above sea level, is located in the cold, barren, isolated mountains. The Yi people have lived here, generation after generation, for more than two thousand years.

In recent years, the nation built the locals hardened roads which connect through villages, and new modern houses. They also helped relocate the Yi people to lower altitude areas. The locals’ material life begins to modernize, while traditions and customs faces changes. This may be the way how history comes along— the valued or the unvalued, are all being left behind, forgotten even, along the way.
