位于山西省晋中市平遥县马家巷34号，是清代巨商、平遥四大富商之首马中选的故居，始建于清同治年间，后经几十年不断修建形成宏伟建筑群体。马中选出生于中医世家，科举中举后投身商贾，曾任平遥票号蔚丰厚分号经理、总号大掌柜等职。
建筑特色：占地九亩多，由3座大院、6座小院、197间房屋组成，总体布局俯瞰酷似“马”字形，隐喻马家事业马到成功。建筑外观高大威严，内部富丽精巧，荟萃木雕、砖雕、石雕于一院，熔绘画、书法、诗文为一炉，规制严谨、功能齐全，有“家私王国，中华一绝”的美誉，民间还流传着“拉不完、填不满的马家地下金库”之说。
